Happy Birthday Swamiji - Celebration with groceries for artists

On 23 May it's Swamiji's birthday.

He decided to celebrate his birthday with a grand sharing for the musicians of Jabalpur.

After last month's experience we felt an open space in our heart. We were excited to buy the goods and start packing them again. This time almost 200 artists registered. We were wondering how 350kg lentils and over 600 kg  rice would find space in our living room. This time more preparation and more helping hands were needed.

Friends from the group of musicians & artists of Jabalpur joined. Packing took 3 days time.

In the night before Swamiji's birthday we had an extraordinary meditation experience. Every day we meditate at 7 pm, today it felt like he is giving us a birthday present. He says "it is impossible to give something to a higher energy."

In the meditation a silence of a very different kind opened. It is beyond words, hence it cannot be described. If anything it can be described as a silky and deep lightness.

On 23rd may the celebration started at 9 am in the morning. Chairs were set up in the shade for the musicians and cold drinks were served. Social distancing guidelines were respected, everybody was wearing a mask, police officers were present to supervise everybody's safety. Cake and sweets were  distributed and the families with children received chocolate milk powder and biscuits in their grocery packets. With the help of a dozen volunteers registering the artists, executing the safety measurements 170 grocery packets were distributed.

The group of volunteers joined us for a feast at our house with much song & laughter.

In the following days articles and pictures about this blissful sharing appeared in different news papers.
